SLAUGHTER OF THE TREES

Okay...so my funometer has been improving lately and the gaming has been fun for a change. But when I rage quit I go take out my anger on some oak trees in my back yard. For background purposes...Hurricane Irene came through here a few years ago (2011) and blew an oak tree over (snapped it off actually at the base onto another oak tree). It was snagged pretty good but it never stopped making acorns and leaves so I left it as is. Enter my lovely little missus and the septic tank guy...2014. The tree is 10 feet from the tank and the sump sucker told me missus that the tree could break at the base and destroy my house (why does this crap happen when the man is at work????). So she gets Joe Schmuckatelli's tree service to come over and bring them both down. Ahhhhhhh! But now I have lots of firewood waiting for me...just have to cut it up.

So when they took it down, did it hit the house?

Not a chance in hell it would have ever happened. Way too much weight already 2/3s of the way down with the root ball still in the ground. Only way it could go was straight down.

My wife said the house shook like I had farted when the trees came down.
