AMD Ryzen

Post by D3HN1NJ4 »

Anyone looking into the R7 series? I want to upgrade to an R7 1700 with a motherboard that can do Crossfire so I can add a second RX 480 4gb (I want to game at 1440p 60fps but don't want to start from complete scratch on my build).

The R7 1700 seems cool so I can stream as well as play BF1, especially with all of our shenanigans in game and learn some of the video editing stuff to go with it. My i5 6402p is a great gaming CPU but much more and it shows its limits.

I may compromise and wait for the R5 1600x or something, but the point is Crossfire and streaming/editing.
Thoughts?
N1NJ4's coming for you...

Maximum PC this month did a review on it, which I have not had time to read. You may be able to read it on their website.
