I made some rootbeer with the kids recently, since they like to help me homebrew a bit. Wanted to make something they could drink, LOL. Anyway, that gives me an idea... next time we may add some cacao nibs to the rootbeer! On a side note, I learned a bit of trivia while making the rootbeer. Since it was carbonated with yeast, and know from homebrewing that cobon dioxide & ALCOHOL are excreted by the yeast as they eat the sugars, I was curious. After a lil research, I found that yes, there is a small amount of alcohol in any drink naturally carbonated with yeast. This is where the term "soft drink" was coined. Anything with an alcohol level below .5% is a "soft drink", and above is...well I guess a "hard drink". LOL And now you know! ;)
