Very nice. :paladin: I am of the same opinion that BF5 it's a game and it's meant to be fun, not a history class. For example, BF4 is NOT historically accurate because Bullseye knifes me every time and in history the truth is that I aways knifed him... :drinks: The name should give you a hint of inaccuracy; Battlefield 1? Not even the first Battlefield game but the 5th! Just don't expect that from EA. They are doing what they do to make $$$$, nothing else. It's a business.

I also agree that a historically accurate game would be ALSO fun to play. In a historically accurate game, the user will adapt to the situations and the pace with continuous playing and eventually enjoy it for what it is.

EA knows that a faster pace produces a higher level of adrenaline (and other hormones) which is what keep us stuck to the game for longer time$$$$$$ (addicted). It's what all game developers look when creating a game. Anger, anxiety, and even frustration are some of the reactions game developers want you to experience because they all conduce to addiction. For how many years Microsoft used the same technique to make us buy the next windows? Still do it! How many of you can honestly say you have never been utterly frustrated with your Windows version; and yet you go and buy the next one? :gamer3:
If you buy it then enjoy it, which means you will be frustrated, angry, anxious and ready to pull you hairs (not you Tracker) and LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT! :suicide: And Yes, go to the battlelog and post your frustration posts of the game... It's your right and it tells them how successful the game can be. :dwarf:

Yeah, some great points and I completely agree.

The cool thing though is that, through server settings and Procon plugins for weapon restrictions, you could force people to play with more realistic loadouts and stuff like that. It would be cool if DICE even put it a server setting to make those changes but I doubt it.

I don't think a historically accurate game would be as much fun long term, but it would be a lot of fun to play it that way sometimes.
