Banned by Shayno's crying

Timmy, Viper and myself logged onto the VTBG/FMJ site and were playing. Shayno was there, typed the following in chatbox:

SHAYNO: Go away les, nobody likes you.

Then I killed him a few times, while in a tank, and the rage really came into full swing.

SHAYNO: Go away les, you hack fuck

LESPAULED: I never hacked in my life, you call everyone a hack that's better than you.

SHAYNO: You're an arrogant douche, and a hack fuck.

LESPAULED: Actually, I'm not arrogant, just better than you.

SHAYNO: You're lucky I'm not admin, I'd ban your ass.

Then he didn't spawn for a few minutes as the game continued. My k/d was 8/6, hardly anything to cry about.

A few minutes later, I got banned from the server. The screen cap is attached.

I simply don't understand the premise of crying so much that a person gets banned. It's a fact of life. There is always someone better than you. I never talked to the guy (or girl, I have no idea), so how would he think that I'm arrogant? People that visit our teamspeak know that's not the case.

I hope he/she is happy living in their bubble, knowing that they can get people banned for killing them in a game.

If you play on that server, bring tissues for Shayno, he needs them.

PGC and VTBG/FMJ enjoy a strong and respectful relationship. PGC plays on VTBG/FMJ servers and VTBG/FMJ plays on PGC servers.

While I don't know for sure, I'll assume that VTBG/FMJ is like PGC and that they pay for their servers giving them the opportunity to create and enforce their rules and run their server as they desire.

Not sure though, why you feel compelled to bring your drama to the PGC forums.

I guess I post these items here to for a couple of reasons. I know that you have a great relationship with them. I respect the fact that they can do what they want. But, I think it was based on one person's crying more than anything. I guess it's because I know the message will eventually be seen by him, as well as others to show that I was banned by one person's vendetta, nothing more.

I also post it here as a testament to your clan. Instead of banning people that may or may not be better than you, your members play with that person(s) and learn their tactics.

So, it's not necessarily airing my drama, as much as it is a means of saying that your clan has my utmost respect.

I have input on this to, As being in their (VTBG) TS at the time of the ban. One person starts shouting BAN the hackers! (but no one is hacking) this is referring to Les, Bean and Timmy. Who btw followed me into the game. This is one of the things I take issue with. Removal of players who are stronger players. It's one thing to break up groups to make things even, but strait kicking is not representative of a community ethics code of my liking. Also I do realize that this is their server so I can just take steps in not playing there, that is fine. Also I want to point out it was none of the admins I know well that started the pitch fork rant for the banning. Thanks for the share Les, this is an issue that concerns me too.

Technically they can't ban for reason stated. As a server admin you should be familiar with the EA ToS which states:

Please note that Server Administrators should not ban players for conduct that is not in breach of the TOS, for example, just because they are winning the round, have killed you, etc. The player being banned must be in violation of the TOS (which may include violation of the particular server's rules, provided these rules are in accordance with the TOS).

For the avoidance of doubt, Server Administrators will also violate the TOS if they (i) use offensive server names, server art or tags; or (ii) encourage other players to violate the TOS while in game.

Hello All,

As a founding member of VTBG and in coalition with FMJ I should say a couple things about this issue. Les was banned due to the fact some of our members were going to stop playing in the server, if Les continued to play their. I will NOT let our members quite because of one other player coming into are server. This was not a choice by Shayno, I was the one who banned Les and will not be lifting this ban. I respect Les as an awesome player and have no problem with him personally. I have known PGC members for some years now as I was an =ezcoy= and PGC member.

Les, on another note, its kind of funny you say bring a tissue to are server for Shayno when you are crying on PGC forms, when your not even a member of PGC... just sayin! ;)

Timmy I can appreciate your fever for trying to pursue an issue which is basically a non-issue. Terms of service or not, EA has gone out of their way to make sure that we all know that they could give a fat rats ass why we ban somebody from our servers. I could Ban you for the freckles lining up funny on your face, And there's not one shitting thing that they're going to do about it. They don't care. Percentagewise, they care about 5 to 8% of how their customers perceive their games, and the rest is solely about money. They have proven this for years and years and I cannot for the life of me figure out why somebody even bother to bring it up anymore. Their terms of service if you want to call them that are complete and utter bullshit and 90% of it applies to licensing and that's it.
