Farewell PGC

Post by Arizona_Joe »

Been a few months and I really did think I would get the itch to jump back into the game but it has not happened so I am just dropping in to say goodbye. There are a lot of things I could say but there are more than 1000 of my posts in this forum so I would just repeat a bunch of stuff anyway. If you were ever around when I was here I have probably written a little story about you in the forums, so you all know I love you.

I have been playing Steam games off and on and our old friend ShotgunRCAF has invited me to try H-Hour when it comes out. I am not going off and joining any EzCoy/FFG/spinoff Steam community but I just might try the game if it gets good reviews. The rewards it gives for team play has me intrigued. And these games have always been more about me playing with a kick ass squad than trying to get a 50 kill streak. But my days as a member of a large group are over. MoHW was the most fun I ever had in an online game and there were maybe 4 of us at a time on average playing it...that is where I want to be again.

A lot of us still share stuff and act silly together on facebook and I am definitely not here to unfriend anyone so I will see you around still. My reason for being in this community was always about the people and not the game anyway. Hopefully you will all be able to look back on my days here and remember me more for reviving you or giving you health as an FTB than the times I killed you throwing a med bag on you after reviving you in a hardcore server.

Adios Amigos!

Very very very sad to hear the news. It may be an understatement to say how much we, your friends, have missed you here, but we have given your space wishing that you could feel better enough to come back again. I know the community has grown more than we expected, but I have to say that many good people has joined us. As your friend I can only wish you the best and therefore I hope at least that every now and then you stop by and play a few rounds with us - no strings attached, just have some fun with a friendly squad. I would be honored to be on your squad if possible. Remember the doors are always wide open here for you my friend. We miss you brother!!!

Can not add much to Tommy's statement, and as said, always welcome here to game or just ramble and/or rant :punish: in Forums. You have been and will continue to be missed. :friends:

You will be missed. I know we didn't get to talk or play much together, but you were my first friend on the battlefield. You didn't mind having a NOOB in your squad following you around like a puppy dog. Like the other guys said, you are always welcome and the door is always open.

Well I have been missing my friends and I built a new gaming rig so I will be back this winter. But like I said, I will be looking for fun with you guys. I will be renting my own server. So if the PGC ones fill up with pubs or clan whores that want to come in and own us I will just leave for my own server if anyone wants to join me. I am going to rent an MOHW server as well. Tommy still owes me a few more stealth kills when he is invisible in homerun. I need to get my homerun medals to complete my trophy case :preved:
