Project!
Re: Project!
WOW, that table is impressive! Especially seeing the condition it was in. Nice work and attention to detail.

Hey Muffin, very impressive I made say and giving new life to a well deserve desk. You have a keen eye for detail and it shows in your restoration. The paint has a very high gloss and gives a mirror finish. It must have been hard to paint because I didn't see any brush strokes on the surface of the desk - in fact, it looks like you airbrush it on. Is it because of the paint you used?
I applaud you on your profession and keep up the fantastic work.

Re: Project!
I agree! Very nicely done!
Re: Project!
That is the paint. It looks sprayed but trust me when I way you get better results brushing. This paint Lays down and relaxes after you brush it on, so all the brush marks go away. Oh I thin it way over what they recommend but... Warning, this stuff will run and sag so you need to mess with samples to get the hang of it. If you can master it, you will never need to spray again. My company does this all over walls and well anything. Here is a past project. Please don't show this pic outside this thread. It will be published soon and my company is not to let it out of the bag yet. http://imgur.com/a/Enh0L Final Just keep these images private

I have seen houses and Co-Ops in around Brooklyn and Manhattan back in 1994 that were painted with the same paints perhaps. It was a high gloss and a very mirror like finish applied to the doors. That's really neat to see it on the ceilings.Muffinbun wrote: http://imgur.com/a/Enh0L Final Just keep these images private
