You lose skill whenever your "game skill" is less than your overall skill. If you had 350 as your overall skill, then played a game where your "game skill" calculated to only 300, then you'd lose -5 Skill for that game .
(350 x .9) + (300 x .1) = 345

I was thinking it was an MIT formula with log functions and differential equations since I can have high K/D games and high SPM games and still be only +4 skill when my Skill is in the high 300s but be +14 when skill is low 200s.
I loved the comments. I can't imagine a skill over 400...and now that I know how it gets calculated...I know I never will

My math teacher asked me on my final oral exam to graduate from Senior. "Tommy, what is the result of pie approaching infinite?" and I responded
