Crash

Post by Arizona_Joe »

=EzCoy= had a pretty fanatical BC2 following. You could pretty much go into the Atacama server any time of day and see 10 members in there. Lots of names, Tangle, Kracken, Merg, DB Cooper, Boozeman, Sgt Carter, Madder Mikey, UnitA, Psilence, Jag, Legionnaire, Sevelle, on and on... I didn't really have much time but weekends with my "swim schedule" but I played when I could.

When they introduced the Vietnam DLC was when I met another "infrequent flyer" named Crash. I think it was on a Saturday night and the group wanted to go into one of the new maps. I have always been a forums rat and had always wanted to game with Crash because he was one of the few members with a K/D like me and spent most of the time talking to me through the forums! :sarcastic:

We were in the same squad and I ran around with him because I was completely lost. It was a mountain jungle map with trenches and limited pathways. That was the first time I learned that playing on a new map for me would be better if I was with someone who knew where the heck we were supposed to be going...and Crash was as unfamiliar as I was! We had fun that night and have had fun many times since but never enough.

My favorite moment with Crash was on the Novigrad MoHW map when he tomahawked me. I was like, "Ahhhhhhh, I am being T-Hawked!!!!" When it was over I said, "Isn't that the greatest feeling in the world?" :yahoo: Crash has never been a jabber jaw in chat and is a cool customer but he agreed with me enthusiastically that time.

Looking forward to continued limited gaming time with you brother! :good:

My bud Para made this video which looks pretty cool but I am still not sure I want to get BF 1. If I do we can go in clueless together. Otherwise I will go in with you clueless and you will actually know what the heck is going on. Either way, we will be gaming together which is what it is all about.

Yup. Totally agree.

BF1 is in limbo for me until they answer the simple question of can we rent a configurable adminable server

Yes sir, I agree! But I might still get it if it goes on sale at Christmas time for $59. In MoHW EA had quite a few EA servers with 12 player limits. We could easily get two groups of four into a small server to have some PGC fun. But like I said, only if it was on super sale.
